The Airro Mini FPV Drone – A Palm Sized FPV Drone

Whenever I think of drones, I think of great machines that do all sorts of things, but my mental images are never of compact machines or controllers. That’s why, after hearing about the Airro Mini FPV drone, I was so excited—this thing is small, sleek, and can fit in the palm of your hand! Airro doesn’t sacrifice quality or efficiency for size, and amazingly, the Airro Mini can fly in 2 or 3 axis without any issues!

I’m in love with the Airro Mini FPV’s controller, it looks so sleek and modern that I completely forget about the big boxy controllers of the past when I look at it. The controller has a touch screen, a micro-USB charging port, and even LED lights that you can program. While all of this does sound a bit intimidating, the controller is ready to go right out of the box, but you’ve got instructions to help you along to change anything you like.

The drone itself is impressive, allowing you to experience first-person flying through the use of some FPV goggles that last up to 3 hours on a single charge! The drone is lightweight but very sturdy, and its propellers have guards to protect it from impacts as much as possible. It also has 3 flight modes that allow you to get the best angles and views possible with your little drone, and no matter what mode you choose, you won’t have to waste data or time recording video on apps… you can record straight from the drone itself. The camera is impressive too: it’s a 700TVL FPV camera that uses a 5.8GHz transmitter that sends live video straight to your GPV goggles.

If you want an affordable drone that’s compact, modern, and exceptionally made, visit the kickstarter and pledge today. I haven’t been this excited about a drone project in a long time, and I am excited to see what the Airro Mini brings to the table once it’s funded.
