We’re big fans of solar power here at Geek Extreme. It’s the way of the future, and we’re doing our best to embrace it by using solar gadgets whenever possible. It’s tough to make use of solar in an apartment, but not impossible.
Take this new solar lantern for example. It’s a simple solar powered lantern that packs flat and puffs up when you want to use it, and it lasts between 8-12 hours before running out of juice. That’s pretty good for something that weights just a few ounces.
