Host1Plus has a data center located in Sao Paulo (VPS hosting in USA, Germany, South Africa is also available). They offer variety of VPS hosting plans to choose from. The medium one called Silver costs $8 USD per month.
For that price you would get 1 CPU core, 768 MB RAM, 30 GB disk space and 1000 GB bandwidth with 50 Mbps port speed. You can also get a cheaper Bronze plan with lower resources for only $5/mo.
LocaWeb.com.br
One of the more popular hosting companies that have datacenters in Brasil and offers VPS hosting services. Their cheapest plan costs about $18 per month. This is a pretty big price boost, and with this plan you get 2 CPU cores, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB disk space and 1 GB bandwidth.
As you can see, with such a price increase you only get 1 CPU more than the previous offer. Also, the available bandwidth is a lot lower – if you are planning to use a large amount of it, it seems that this company is not for you.
UolHost.com.br
Also quite popular hosting company. The cheapest VPS plan you can get with them will cost you $14.80 per month. It comes with 1 CPU core, 512 MB RAM and 50 disk space and only 2 Mbps port speed. Almost the same resources as with Host1Plus $8 Silver plan, but the port speed is 25 times slower here.
If you need a fast network connection, we doubt that this kind of VPS hosting will be suitable for you.

This company has a datacenter in Sao Paulo. Their cheapest VPS hosting plan offered costs $9.25/mo. What you would get for that price: 1 CPU core, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB disk space and 2 Mbps port speed.
Their price is quite good, but again – if you need a fast network connection, the 2 Mbps port speed would be insufficient.
Server Testing / Results
Now lets talk about each of these companies VPS hosting test results and their performance. Server tests for all these hosting companies was done using the standardized ServerBear benchmark. It shows more general server performance results with their UnixBench score, together with the more detailed results on CPU, HDD and network performance. You can find the more detailed benchmark information in our provided links to the full online reports.
Host1Plus VPS got the best UnixBench score – 918 (more detailed online report), while the lowest benchmark score was on MaxiHost server – only 170 (full report). Somewhere in the middle was LocaWeb, with overall benchmark score of 441 (full report). UolHost got a 604 UnixBench score (full report).
Host1Plus had the best CPU speed and HDD performance (I/O 455 MB/s, IOPS 5677) and quite good network speed (6 MB/s), while LocaWeb had the fastest network speed – 27.2 MB/s (keep in mind that they offer only 1 GB bandwidth per month). MaxiHost had a decent HDD score (I/O 128 MB/s, IOPS 3783), but a very low network speed (271 KB/s). UolHost also had a decent CPU, HDD (I/O 24 MbB/s, IOPS 6168) scores, but a very low network speed (234 KB/s).
From these test results, you can see who currently offer the best VPS hosting deals in Brasil. Considering that Host1Plus VPS had the best overall performance score and their hosting services are most affordable, it seems that Host1Plus is currently a VPS Brasil leader.
In conclusion, currently the best scenario for VPS hosting in Brasil is Host1Plus. They offer the best server performance and the lowest price from all of our reviewed companies. If the most important thing for you is network speed, but you don’t need a lot bandwidth or good server performance – you could choose LocaWeb.
