A drone comes to you built for just that. Fun. And it comes at an affordable price as well. The aptly named Air Selfie 2 is a mini drone that does what it says on the tin. Takes selfies, or rather, pictures of you and your surroundings.
The Air Selfie 2 comes from a Kickstarter campaign that launched a year ago. The campaign led to the creation of the original Air Selfie drone.
The Second Generation of Air Selfie:
This newest iteration is a major upgrade from the first one. It holds a 12 Mega Pixel camera for its namesake’s task. Storage for photos and video is also possible with its built-in 16 Gigabyte micro SD card. The scope of the AS2’s camera is extremely wide as well. You can see up to 85 degrees, giving you a better view of any shot. The AS2 can also hover up to 65 feet in the air, giving you a higher vantage point for photos. This drone can definitely take snapshots for your activities and store them all in one convenient place.
The drone is still a miniature one however, so don’t expect much for flight time. It only has 5 minutes to stay airborne, but it is still an upgrade to the first which only had 3 minutes. To make up for this lack of flight time, the drone has other upsides. Its portability for one, since it is extremely small and lightweight. You can take it anywhere without having a heavy bag to carry. The controls are fairly simple as well. All you need is an app for your mobile and it goes off from there.
So if you are the type who wants a compact and easy to carry camera drone, this may be the one for you.
Drones are certainly multi-functional. I could see them getting excellent shots for people on camera.

Taking selfies with this drone will be great. I sure wish it is affordable. I will like to get my hands on it. I love taking and posting selfies on social media.
I sure do love these drones. i have one for myself. i use it all the time to take air selfies and the images and phenomenal. cool stuff.
This kind of technology is somehow good and helpful for people. But not every one can afford them.

The concept of this gadget is good, but I don’t think its design will give it more upgrades in the future. Like more features for new angles or something.

I purchased one of these and it is absolutely useless. It doesn’t fly and the image quality is that of early cell phones circa 2000….
