Homping Grill – Easy To Use Charcoal Grill

I am a huge fan of barbecued food but there is always the debate of whether charcoal grill is best or a gas grill. Of course, using a gas grill is a lot easier to get started and really easy to use when it comes to controlling the temperature. With a charcoal grill, those things are a bit tricky but the upside is that you get amazing tasting food. Charcoal grills have that taste that a gas grill can never create. The Homping Grill is a portable charcoal grill but gives you the convenience of a gas grill.

The Homping Grill is portable so don’t expect to cook a big meal for a patio party but is perfect for two adults enjoying a lunch or dinner. The Homping Grill features an internal fan which is powered by four AA batteries. The point of the fan is to give you the ability to control the heat of the charcoal which is traditionally a problem with charcoal grills. Usually, I move a magazine back and forth to help with the heat or I even use an oscillating fan from time to time. But with the internal fan, there will be no need for such “tricks” to get the fire going.

Another great thing about the Homping Grill is its lack of smoke. It’s not completely smoke-less but there is a significant reduction in smoke. I personally have no issues with smoke from the charcoal grills but it’s a nice feature for those who are accustomed to gas grills. Although the smoke is reduced, I would personally not recommend it for indoor use. But according to the company, indoor use is fine. I’m just concerned your home might smell like burning charcoals.

The Homping Grill only weighs in at 8.5 pounds while the grill offers 11.5-inches of cooking surface. The barbecue is also pretty efficient and can go through as little as eight charcoal briquettes per hour.  The Homping Grill is available on Amazon for $199.
