The camera is hidden inside the light switch, which doesn’t look too switch-like but is good enough in our opinion. The switch hangs on a wall like a regular switch and is actually functional (for turning lights on and off). In the bottom right hand corner is the hidden HD camera that can take pictures at 1280 x 960 resolution and video at 320 x 240 resolution at 30 frames per second.
The Spy Camera Light Switch is cool enough with these features but it gets even better. The device uses motion detection for activating the camera and on top of shooting pictures and video, it can also send you a text message when someone enters the room. If that’s not enough, the device can text you images it just captured. The camera can also be turned on and off using your cellphone.
The HD Spy Camera Light Switch runs on a rechargeable battery and is price at $80. Not a bad price for a cool spy gadget that can do so much.
