Eachine 58 Review: Pocket Quadcopter at an Affordable Price

In a previous article, we talked about the drone manufacturing company Eachine. They recently unveiled their product aptly named the Selfie Drone. For a very low price, you can get the Eachine E56 – a camera drone that follows you around. With it, anyone can get their fill of selfies all day long. It had a decent camera, decent build, and a great price for those wanting to try out drones. While it had problems, for the most part it was a decent purchase for anyone wanting to test the waters for a drone hobby. It also proved to be a great deal for those wanting to take recreational shots of them in action.Yes, Eachine drones offer a lot for the prices they are offered at.

Eachine 58: Pocket Quadcopter Review

One of their newer creations is the Eachine 58, a bite-sized quadcopter that is very light on the pocket – both financially and literally. Named as the Pocket Quadcopter Drone, it lives up to its name, similar to its cousin mentioned above. It is small, lightweight, and very portable. The Eachine 58 can be a great choice for those wanting to move around a lot for their photographs. It has a foldable design – the rotors and arms can fold into the drone’s body to minimize its size. It becomes so small in fact, that its folded state is actually smaller than the controller itself is.

Decent Camera and Features

The other feature of this drone is its price. For a drone equipped with a 720p camera, it still hovers at about $80 retail. For those wanting to try out the world of drones while not wanting to spend a lot, this can be a great deal. It has its own dedicated controller and does not simply use an app from a phone. This means you get to learn the basics of flying with an actual controller, and not the simplified controls on mobiles. If you can spare the $80 for the Eachine 58, it can be a great learning experience and a good start for a more serious drone pursuit. It has all the good qualities of a starter drone, and it comes with full parts – which you can use to familiarize yourself with the technology. With it, you can have an easier time  adjusting if you ever upgrade to a more serious (and expensive) drone.
