SensorWake Alarm: Wake Up To Nice Scents

Scientific studies on sleep have shown that sleep stage at awakening is an important factor in amplifying sleep inertia. Most alarm clocks will produce repeated loud noise resulting in rude awakening. Recently sleep stage monitoring alarm clocks like dawn simulators have appeared that wake people from light sleep.

More recently, however, a French teenager has come up with the ingenious idea of SensorWake. This is a scent clock that releases various aromas to wake you up in the morning. He claims that 99% of people will awake within two minutes.

Scents are stored in special replaceable pods containing an assortment of fragrances; each one would last for 60 uses.

Since some sleepers can become accustomed to the scent if it has been used for a period of time, making it less effective, the SensorWake will revert to an audible alarm after 3 minutes to deter this adaptation.

You can own one by a pledge of $89.
