Parrot Drone Prices Expected New Lows this Holiday Sales

In a previous article, we talked about the current downfall of a great smaller drone company, Parrot. The drone manufacturing company based on France, recently started lay-offs for their employees. After a disappointing few quarters, due to a combination of weak sales, aggressive competition, and other, smaller factors, Parrot seems to be in trouble. While it may be uncertain what the future holds for Parrot, drone fans can be certain of one thing. Because of these troubled times, Parrot is expected to hold numerous (and large) sales – especially this upcoming holiday season.

Parrot Sales Expected

Let us get one thing clear – Parrot has some amazing drones in their arsenal. The problem is that the competition, mainly the drone giant DJI, controls most of the market. In fact, sources estimate that DJI has over 70% control of the market, an unprecedented scale. At what point should we just say that it is a monopoly over a competitive scene?

Parrot has amazing drones, both with cameras and flight capabilities. For those wanting a starter drone, or for those wanting a cheaper drone that is outside the mainstream of DJI’s domain, getting a Parrot drone for the holidays can be a good deal. With discounts expected to reach above and beyond the 50% margin, now would be the perfect time to try one out.

The Parrot Anafi for example is a great example of a camera drone with affordable prices. An oldie but goodie, the Parrot Bebop 2 also offers a compact design combined with great battery and camera. For kids, a drone can be a fun new toy to have this holiday season. The Parrot Mambo fires plastic balls through its very own mounted cannon for a great playtime toy.

Expect these, and a lot more from Parrot’s arsenal, to go on sale soon. While this may help boost sales, one may wonder how long can a smaller company such as Parrot stand up against the ever-growing juggernaut that is DJI?
