While this may not exactly be geek news… I know that there are a lot of geeks out there who enjoy sports. Many of you on the East Coast may have heard that Los Angeles Lakers announcer Chick Hearn was in the hospital following two brain surgeries after falling at his home and hitting his head. What you may not have heard is that at 6:30pm PDT, Chick Hearn passed away and never regained consciousness after surgery.
