ABCNews.com has a disturbing article about 2 companies, , SmarterChild.com and ActiveBuddy.com, who have teamed up to deliver a highly targeted new form of advertising and marketing to the internet through the use of Instant Messsaging programs like ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, etc., targeting:  YOUR CHILDREN


We’re talking here about bots with names, bots with personalities, bots with the ability to ask your 11-year-old daughter if she had a nice day — and by the way, does she want to listen to a song by 14-year-old pop singer Lindsay Pagano?
