Dating can be hard and confusing, especially when you’re a geek freak trying to land the heart of someone special. You are always wondering does she like me? Why is she not responding to my text, email, or phone call? Why was she awkward the last time we spoke? The questions in your mind are nonstop.
Here are some dating tips that can help any geek freak figure out the wonderful world of dating.
Find someone with common interests
If you are looking for a great girl to date, it is better if you pick someone sharing the same interests as yours. Figure out what are the things you love, what are your passions, what are your hobbies, etc. Try to find someone who may share the same common interests and passions. You don’t have to both like exactly the same thing, as it may be fun to learn some new hobbies and take on a new passion.
Geek freak, don’t lose yourself, be yourself
You may think that creating a false image of yourself just to fit with the likes of the person you are dating is the right way, but that is the wrong way. Never create a false image, always try to be yourself…your genuine self. Obviously, you need to make the other person comfortable first, just out of good manners. But other than this, do not ever project a false image of yourself. If the person does not ask you about your own interests (they should), it is no harm to blend that information in between your conversations. After all, a relationship is never formed just from one side.
In the end, just because you are a little weird, a little different, doesn’t make you bad. In fact, it makes you beautiful and unique!
Observe what is around you and in front of you – your date
A geek likes to observe, so remember, if you are dating a geek, they may just watch you, stare at you, and really get to know your actions and get to know you.
Get to know their likes
If you are dating another geek — A geek is one of the few people that will memorize your likes and will even get to know everything that you hate. That means that you should do the same! Knowing exactly what a geek likes is most important, and for that matter, get to know the likes of anyone you are dating.
Never be disheartened, geek freak
Finally, there are a million of fish in the sea. If it doesn’t work out, then try again. Don’t get too upset. The right one will come along. The sun will rise again. No worry.
