6 Awesome Geeky Stocking Fillers

Whether you are going all out on a big gift for a loved one or are sticking to smaller, less expensive tokens, if we’re honest, it’s often the stocking fillers that we all love the most. They are usually thoughtful and typically things that we want but wouldn’t think to buy ourselves. Stocking fillers are fun, they are treats, and they are a fantastic way to make Christmas morning a little more special.

However, this is only true if you put some thought into it. While a stocking filled with chocolates is pretty cool, there are plenty of other fantastic stocking fillers out there, especially if you are lucky enough to get to shop for a geek. Here’s a look at six of the best.

Star Wars Socks

For many, the Christmas haul is the only chance for new socks that year. We don’t buy ourselves socks, and if we do, they are usually cheap and basic. They’re certainly not something that we want to take our shoes off to show off. So, these amazing star wars socks are a perfect stocking filler. They come in a two-pack, so they are great value for money and feature Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper, for a bit of a dark twist.

Minifigures

Let’s be honest, we all love a Lego Minifigure, and some of them are worth quite a lot of money. Great options are the recipient’s favorite movie or book characters, cute Minifigure key rings, or, if you want to be a little quirky, you can have their own personalized Minifigure created. If you’d prefer something a little more festive, Minifigure filled Christmas tree baubles are good.

Floppy Disc Coasters

If you were born before 1990, chances are you have at some point used an old floppy disc as a coaster. But times have changed, CDs have come and gone, and now all of our files are in the cloud. Kids today wouldn’t even know what a floppy disc is. Retro floppy disc coasters are a great way to bring a smile and a touch of nostalgia to your festive celebrations.

The Ember Mug

If your geek spends a lot of time at their desk, they might be fairly fed up with their coffee going cold before they get the chance to drink it. The Ember smart mug links to a smartphone app to keep hot drinks at the perfect temperature.

Fun Phone Cases

Who doesn’t love a new phone case? You can buy geeky phone cases for all common smartphones in a wide range of designs, including movie prop inspired and retro.

Japanese Candy

If anime is their thing, they are sure to be delighted to open up some classic Japanese candy on Christmas morning. Traditional and modern sweets in quirky and colorfully designed packaging could be the ultimate cute gift this Christmas.

Geeks are potentially the easiest people to buy for. Whether they love anime, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, gaming, coding, or anything else, there are plenty of cool and quirky gifts, as well as smart gadgets that are sure to bring a smile to their faces this Christmas.
