Game night with your family and friends just got more interesting. The new Tilt Five is a combination of your regular board games, video games and virtual reality. The Tilt Five is a holographic tabletop gaming system that is interactive and uses augmented reality (AR) to get you into the game. Tilt Five comes with gaming glasses, a special game board, a wand controller, and a USB cable. The Tilt Five glasses connect to your phone, tablet or computer. Once you connect them to your device and choose the game you want to play, simply slip on these glasses and watch characters and mountains emerge from the game board, giving you a gaming experience unlike any other.
The glasses have been designed to be large and wide so that you can slip them over your prescription glasses if you have them. The glasses also have a 110° field view so you can see the entire board and remain focused on your game even if you are not looking straight at the game board. This gaming system has been designed to be played solo or with other players. Even if your friends don’t have the Tilt Five system, they can still play along using their phones, tablets, or computers. And, even if your friends are miles and miles apart, they can still play along with you using their own game board.
Everyone who joins the game gets to view the board from their own perspective. You will see it how you like it and it will all be kept secretive for your own eyes only. The miniatures you use for your game will also come to life and you can interact with the game board using the wand to do things like poke, shove, shoot, burn, drag, slide, twirl, and crush. Tilt Five is currently being crowd-funded on kickstarter.com and you can get this game in the LE version or XE version in different packages. The LE kit costs $299 and the XE kit costs $359.
