DigiTimes reports that the 240Hz TV will have a (likely dynamic) contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 & run less than $2K. Not too shabby…
Vizio’s LED TVs adopt LG Display’s panels and direct-type backlighting technology, the sources noted. The LED TVs will be packaged in existing chassis modules for its CCFL-backlit sets, which will enable Vizio to cut production costs for the new lineup, the sources said.

The question is if this thing is EVER going to actually be released…not looking great, so far, with all the delays…
I am beginning to doubt that they will ever release it. What a joke.
I too was waiting, but got the Panosonic plasma instead. I wanted to replace my other tv too, but now cash is low, so I will probably keep it.
Vizio is always a good deals for affordable TV if you don't care about reputation of “brand”.
