I can’t remember exactly when the Angry Birds game/App was first introduced but it has been a huge success and the game developers have licensed the Angry Birds name to so many different gadgets and toys that it’s pretty hard to keep track. To add to that list, we now get Angry Birds USB drives by EMTEC.
The Angry Birds USB drives come in various characters from the game including Red Bird, White Bird, Yellow Bird, Read More →
I love Coca-Cola and Pepsi Cola equally. It’s the perfect drink for a hot summer day despite the empty calories and crap load of sugar it contains. We also have Coke Zero which is average in taste. And why am I going on about soft drinks on a site like Geek Extreme?
Because I just came across these very cool Coca-Cola and Coke Zero USB Flash Drives. I purchase Coca-Cola and I purchase USB flash drives. Why not combine the two? Although I can’t drink out of a USB flash drive, the bottle shaped USB drive sure as hell looks a lot better than a standard USB drive. Read More →
Nothing gets the heart racing like finding a brand new gadget under the Christmas tree. This practical and stylish unique accessory is a perfect gift for the stylish geek. It is a ballpoint pen that opens in the middle to reveal a 4GB USB key. Sparkling beautifully, the body is filled with 200 delicate Indian Sapphire crystals. The high quality refill can be replaced quickly and easily.
I have several photographer friends and they are extremely good at what they do. With the holidays and Christmas right around the corner, this Camera USB Drive is probably one of the best gifts they could receive. Even better, it’s quite affordable.
The Camera USB Drive is a detailed replica of a DSLR and has 4GB of storage capacity. Just like the real camera, the lens on the device detaches from the body. Upon detaching the “lens”, you will find the USB stick. I know there are lots of unique USB drives on the market but this one is definitely one of my favorites. Photojojo is offering this awesome Camera USB Drive for only $20.
With the increasing use of portable data devices, keeping your data private has become quite hard. I often forget and leave my USB at the office or at friends’ houses, fortunately I don’t have much private data on my USB drive but a lot of people do. For those people the Crypteks USB Drive is the perfect solution.
The Crypteks USB Drive comes in a very stylish cylinder shaped package that not only provides digital security but also physical security. The physical security is provided by a five ring combination lock, each ring contains 26 letters and one symbol for a total of 14,348,907 combinations. If someone got their hands on your Read More →
As a gadget geek, I don’t have much trouble spending my hard earned money on numerous gadgets but when it comes to buying batteries, I turn into a cheap-ass. There are lots of rechargeable battery options but I especially like the USBCell Batteries.
You don’t need to worry about bulky chargers or if you travel a lot, you don’t have to worry about dealing with different electric outlets in European and Asian countries because the USBCell Batteries can be recharged using a standard USB port on your computer, laptop, or even an Xbox. Read More →
Growing up, one of my favorite “toy” was the Swiss Army knife, not only was it super cool but it had all the tools one needs for camping trips or spending time in the tree-house and it’s also used by adults. If you’re not into knives/tools but still think the Swiss Army knife is cool, we have a perfect gadget for you, the Victorinox Swiss Army Flash Drive.
These cool USB sticks don’t come with any knives, cork screws, or little scissors but instead house a flash drive stick inside while still retaining the classic knife look. The Swiss Army flash drives are water proof, shock resistant, and feature data encryption; you can’t get your data any more secure than that. Read More →
One of the cooler takes on the ever popular USB data storage device, this USB stick is designed by a Russian comrade that goes by the name of “Tarator”. He used AutoCAD software to come up with the cool steampunk design; the final product was then created out of brass (or some other metal).
The end result is a USB stick that is housed inside a 5-wheel combination lock, which should be useful if you happen to have secret data on your device. The steampunk USB locking drive is a one off and my hat goes off to Mr. Tarator for making this cool looking gizmo. Who knows, maybe if there is enough demand, he may even start mass producing these, one can only hope. Read More →
