New waterproof Sony Walkman mp3 built into headphones

Does size really matter? We all have our takes on it but in the case of the Sony Walkman NWZ-W260, smaller is better. Apple’s iPod shuffle gets smaller and smaller each year. Here is Sony’s answer.

The Sony Walkman NWZ-W260 is a music player built directly into a pair of lightweight headphones. The target market for this line of music player are the folks that are active and on the go. The NWZ-W260 features a water resistant finish and can be rinsed off with water. The music player also features quick charging technology that can store up to an hour’s worth of play with just three-minutes of charging. Yesterday we announced that Gateway would be introducing some multitouch all-in-one models, the ZX4800 and ZX6800;  Today, we’ve got news about Sony’s entry into the touchscreen all-in-one market with it’s first touchscreen system, the VAIO L.

The Vaio L features 24-inch 1080p display, a Intel 2.7GHz Pentium dual-core and 4GB of RAM, 320GB (Up to 1TB) hard drive, Multi-DVD write, and GeForce G210M.  Systems should start around $1300.
