Yesterday we announced that Gateway would be introducing some multitouch all-in-one models, the ZX4800 and ZX6800; Today, we’ve got news about Sony’s entry into the touchscreen all-in-one market with it’s first touchscreen system, the VAIO L.

The Vaio L features 24-inch 1080p display, a Intel 2.7GHz Pentium dual-core and 4GB of RAM, 320GB (Up to 1TB) hard drive, Multi-DVD write, and GeForce G210M. Systems should start around $1300.
In need of a new laptop, I set out on a mission to try and find the most bang for under $800, and thanks to a nice $500 coupon, I managed to get this $1299 HP HDX16 Premium Series laptop for $799. My first impression? Well, I’m impressed. Great display, an nVIDIA GeForce GT 130M with a gig of ram, 500gb 7200RPM drive, and 4gb of RAM… So far it’s a snappy lil package. I’ll spend the next few days beating it up and I’ll post my detailed review.
