In theory, this might be a genius idea. In reality, I think I’m probably just too lazy to spin my AA battery for 20 minutes to get a full charge. If it were real, I suppose it could be a lifesaver … like, say, the next time you’re stranded in the middle of nowhere and your handheld GPS runs short of juice.
