Corsair vs. OCZ in the heat spreader category
Written by t-readyroc

The Inq is talking about Corsair's ripping on OCZ for their heat spreader marketing. Corsair is publishing pdf's that knock OCZ's new heat spreader design, but all the tests really do is highlight the fact that the heat spreader really isn't worth all that much in the grand scheme of things.

"A Corsair XMS stamped aluminium heat spreader will overclock to 253 MHz PCB while OCZ "XTC" with its innovative mesh heat spreader overclocks to 253 MHz as well. If you don’t use any heat spreader you will be able to overclock the same modules to 250 MHz."
