Best Buy has officially started the process of getting rid of all of their mail-in rebates. The first items on the list to move to online rebates only are their laptops, & the company is saying that the mail-in's will be all but a memory by sometime in 2007.

"As of Jan. 1, customers started receiving instant savings on notebook computers, eliminating the need to mail-in rebate forms and wait for their rebate check."
