| Today's 3D news is all about the next version of ATi's Catalyst drivers, the 6.1's. Phoronix has a look at the Linux side of things (8.21.7) here, & TweakTown looks at their performance in Windows here. You can download them here, & read the release notes here. This release of drivers does address the darkness issue in Battlefield 2: Special Forces, but there's no mention of the dynamic shadow rendering issue that NGOHQ reported about this week. |
