Someone has started a petition against the upcoming BF2 booster packs, which will include new maps, weapons & vehicles. However, I think the petition is for all the wrong reasons. Paying for new game features is fine, & their pricing is very reasonable. You can't expect new development to be done for free, especially when it's EA/MS. I do, however, believe that the booster packs shouldn't even have been developed in the first place. Why? Oh, I don't know, maybe the countless bugs/issues/complaints about the core game? Instead of devoting time to new features, I'd have much rather seen the developers fix or further develop the current game. Server browser, anyone?

The first BF2 booster pack will be available February 8^th, titled Euro Force. This pack will add three maps with a new European Army & two new vehicle classes.
