802.11n finalized next week?
Written by t-readyroc

Following up on their editorial, EETimes is reporting that the task group may be close to approving the 802.11n spec as early as next week, at their meeting in Hawaii, no less. No wonder these guys haven't approved it yet if they're getting flown around the world to tropical spots just to talk about approving it. I'd draw that process out if I were them, too... heh.

"On Wednesday (Jan. 11), the Joint Proposal (JP) team representing the final three TGn proposal groups (TGnSync, WWise, and MITMOT), seemed to bury many hatchets and voted unanimously to adopt the (fourth) Enhanced Wireless Consortium (EWC) specification."
