The most interesting bit about this announcement to me is the mention of the DirecTV 2Go service, which I'd not heard of until now. Google searching brings up nothing, so if you've got any more info on this yourself, feel free to email me.

"The company has also developed a new hard drive based PMP platform that supports DirecTV’s upcoming DirecTV 2Go service. The DirecTV 2Go service will allow DirecTV customers to transfer programming content from their digital video recorders (DVRs) to the PMP, with the PMP supporting the audio and video formats specific to the satellite service provider."
