I thought it was funny to see two emails in my inbox with "what's the point?" in the subject line, so here they both are, in no particular order ;)

Bob over at ThinkComputers is postulating on the worth of viruses & questions the motives of the people who write them.

"Does it make them feel 'L33T' to see that their creation has infected so many people? What makes a person sit down and write a program that's sole purpose is to make the lives of everyone else miserable? Are the creators that miserable in their own lives that they feel the need to share their misery?"

I see his site getting hacked in 3, 2, 1, go. Heh. The second "what's the point?" article for today is from the CTZ crew, who are wondering about the worth of the newly created technology of self-destructing SMS messages. They're supposedly for corporate security...
