Someone's yet again spotted AMD chips for sale on Dell's website, but this time, it's not one of the enthusiast sites, it's C|Net. Now they're re-visiting the whole Dell/AMD dichotomy, & what the future could hold.

"So why suddenly can you find AMD Athlon processors on the Dell Web site? For the same reason the chips are sold individually in other retail outlets, responds Dell: customer demand."
