Today we're going to take a look at three of Logitech's new wireless mice: the Cordless Mini, the V200, & the LX 7. The Cordless Mini & the V200 fall into Logitech's "Notebook Mice" category, while the LX 7 is simply in the "Cordless Mice" category. This is interesting to me, because the LX 7 is basically the same size as the V200, but there are some differentiating features between the two that certainly separate them into those categories.

The Cordless Mini is, as its name implies, the smallest of the trio.

This mouse was definitely designed with portability in mind, & you won't have any trouble slipping it into your laptop bag.

The Cordless Mini comes in four different colors, & uses a single, included AA battery for power.

The Mini's wireless transmitter/receiver even snaps onto the under side of the mouse when not in use.

This is also the mechanism by which the unit is powered on or off. Un-snap the receiver, & the mouse will power up. Plug it into your USB slot of choice & you're good to go. This is definitely a tiny mouse, though, & I found that although it would be the perfect travel mouse, it was still a bit small for my tastes.

In order to actually use it, I had to hold my hand a bit strangely; the length of it makes it so that you can't actually rest your hand on the mouse itself. The Cordless Mini gets big marks for portability, & it's definitely designed to be something you could use on, say, your flight to Chicago, but the length of it all but negates everyday use.
