Apple updates Java
Written by t-readyroc

Apple's pushing out another security update that deals with Java issues, among other things. You can read the C|Net story here, or read the original advisory here. The official Apple document is here, with links to Java updates for both 10.3.9 & 10.4.2. They've got links to the release notes of newer versions of the J2SE, hosted on Sun's site. The minimum versions that Apple is recommending you update to are still several revisions behind the most current version, 5.0, update 4, which is apparently available for every OS under the sun except for OS X. Hrmph.
