Shuttle launch cancelled

In case you live under a rock or in a cave, they cancelled the shuttle launch (the first one scheduled in two years) yesterday because of a faulty fuel sensor. They're now looking at Saturday at the earliest for another shot; & that's if everything goes well between now & then.

"Discovery had been scheduled to launch at 3:51 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, which would have marked the first shuttle flight since the Columbia disaster of 2003 and NASA's first concerted attempt to demonstrate that it has fixed the problems that caused the high-profile mishap."
