Sasser author gets suspended sentence

Fair? Unfair? Certainly sets a precedent, either way. I'm personally very surprised at the leniency... You'd think this guy would've had his a$$ in a sling for all the sh!t he caused...

"The teenage author of the infamous Sasser worm has been sentenced to one year and nine months probation following his conviction for computer sabotage offences. Sven Jaschan, 19, escaped a prison sentence after confessing to computer sabotage and illegally altering data at the beginning of his trial in the German town of Verden this week."
