AMD files antitrust suit against Intel
Written by t-readyroc

Well, this is certainly an interesting turn of events. Was it truly coersion or simply monopolistic tactics? Or was it neither, & companies just have bought Intel chips all these years because they're the biggest boy on the block? Either way, I certainly didn't expect a lawsuit. I guess, though, as an by-product of this litigation, that maybe some light will be shed on Dell's whole anti-AMD kick that has somehow persisted all these years...

"The 48-page complaint, filed Tuesday (June 28) in the US District Court in Delaware, identifies 38 companies that have been victims of coercion by Intel, through seven types of illegality across three continents."
