Couple of pieces over at CoolTechZone this morning which basically say, if you read them together, that DDR2 is a waste of time. Heh. Only time will tell, I suppose, but I know I, for one, am not rushing out to get a DDR2-based system anytime soon...This article is about the possibility that AMD has no plans to adopt DDR2 at all; instead moving directly to technologies such as DDR3 or XDR. The second article is speculation that Intel knew that DDR2 wasn't a viable choice from the get-go, but chose to move ahead with it anyway. Interesting stuff...
