The CoolTechZone gang attempt to accomplish the impossible (or at least, the improbable). I think that choosing a Linux distro is very much up to the tastes & preferences of the individual who'll be using it; there's no one blanket solution for "the best." I will give them the benefit of the doubt, though, as they follow a well-defined set of criteria:

"The first and most important consideration was that the installation procedure had to be simple and easy to understand. The distributions should have good hardware detection and multimedia support. They should be easy to update and installing new software should not be a chore. Another criteria were the level of support and help available around the Internet."
