Ever wonder about the thought process that goes into making modding gear? Who exactly makes those crazy fan grills, anyway? Well, the Controlled-Insanity gang's got an interview with one of those guys, Chris Norrell, the owner of Bonzai Mods, posted today.

"Q: Is there such a thing as having air flow with custom fan grills that one could achieve levels that stock fan grills can?
A: Here we have a division in modding a lot like in cars, your stripped down ¼ mile guys and the guys who build show car hotrods. I think aesthetics and functionality are important , but trying to eek out one more horsepower by removing the back seat is not my bag."
