Wellity, wellity, wellity... Looks like shifty ol' Mike Dell has changed his mind on the Opteron issue. Caveats, of course, but just the fact that he's said it is something.

"Dell might just be putting the wind up Intel, and reminding it to keep on its toes, of course. It's done that before. Perhaps Dell also suggested to Intel that it had better get with the 64-bit programme as well, seeing as IBM, HP and Sun have now all endorsed AMD Opterons."
