Next VIA Athlon64 chipset overclocker-friendly
Wednesday, 25 February 2004

Fuad over at the Inq-well has a short blurb up saying that the next VIA Athlon64 chipset, the K8T800-Pro, which will support the upcoming socket939 chips, will include AGP & PCI dividers. This means that when you raise your FSB on the K8T800-Pro, you won't be o/c'ing your peripherals or their bus speeds... very cool if true.

"This means that 939 CPUs might be good overclockers, as we saw a phase-changed, cooled Athlon FX running at more than 2800MHz from its original 2200MHz and it was still running quite cool."
