ATI's r300?

There's been some discussions over at [H]ardOCP's forums from some guy claiming to know some of the details about ATI's new R300, supposedly the best thing since sliced bread that ATI is gearing up to launch in Q3.  It's also hinted that the DOOM 3 demo shown at E3 was running on an alpha version of the board with alpha drivers.  Take heed, these are rumors, if they're true, great, if not, we hunt down the bastard.
