"The CPL announced today that the online registration for the Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships has broken all previous established records for the league. In only two months, well over 1,000 competitors are confirmed for the $250,000 official tournaments, making it the world's largest professional computer game competition of 2004. Additionally, the large BYOC area has only 380 spots left."
