The CPL is now accepting applications if you're interested in hosting a qualifier event for the upcoming championships this summer. If you've run some big LAN parties before, & have the gear, this could be just the thing to get your business on the map. An ecclectic list of countries have already submitted reservations for qualifiers, including the UAE. Here's the info you have to submit:

1. Complete description of the event (include dates and venue picture).
2. List of secured and/or pending sponsors.
3. Description of tournament computers, monitors and LAN configuration. Tournament computers must use (3.0 Ghz or higher) Intel® Pentium® 4 processors and NVIDIA® GeForce FX video cards.
4. Examples of any promotional material to be used for the qualifier.
5. Background of organizers and examples of other managed events.
