REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 2003--The highly successful Nintendo GameCube(TM) value bundle offer just got a lot sweeter.

In what is a first for Nintendo, the company now offers purchasers of a Nintendo GameCube a free demo disc featuring five playable previews, along with a free top-rated Nintendo GameCube game.

The demo disc features highly-anticipated playable samples of Soul Calibur(R) 2 (Namco), Viewtiful Joe(TM) (Capcom), Sonic Adventure(TM) DX Director's Cut (Sega), Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell(TM) (Ubi Soft) and Billy Hatcher(TM) and the Giant Egg (Sega), in addition to preview movies of upcoming Nintendo GameCube titles such as F-Zero(R) GX.

The bundle offer already allows consumers to choose one free game from a selection of four best-sellers, including the country's top-selling game, The Legend of Zelda(R): The Wind Waker(TM), for the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of Nintendo GameCube alone -- $149.95.

Beginning June 23, Nintendo will add the all-new Game Boy(R) Player to the mix. For the price of the hardware, consumers will receive a Nintendo GameCube system demo disc and their choice of either the Game Boy Player or the free game.

Players can use either their console controller or Game Boy Advance to direct action on the big screen.

The recent addition of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker to the bundle offer is bound to make waves since the game has sold through to more than one million consumers since March 24, making it the top-selling game to date in 2003. The other bundle offer games consumers can choose from are Metroid(R) Prime (2002 Game of the Year(1)), Star Fox(R) Adventures or Mario Party(R) 4 (Best Family Game of the Year(2)).
