Creative is once again making in-roads into the motherboard arena. I remember the last time the words "Creative" & "motherboard" were mentioned in the same sentence, it was about the time of the SoundBlaster/686B fiasco...

"According to officials at Analog Devices, the software upgrade will either be included in a motherboard maker's retail box, or be available as a trial download application that can then be purchased. The software will be rolled out in new PCs that ship this fall, Creative officials said."
