Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is giving the University of California a $1.2 million grant to make light and low-cost antennas based on radio frequency (RF) MEMS.

"Such technology could provide satellite TV in a car, and eventually, laptops and other commercial products."

Satellite TV in cars?  Don't we have enough trouble with cell phones?  Would be nice to see if it improved satellite radio reception...
