Octools has just posted their review of Soyo's latest KT333 offering, the Dragon Ultra KT333 "Platinum Edition". As an enthusiast wanting more out of their system, I will say that this board is not up to speed. The inability to run stable and overclock at a high fsb speed is one of the major thing that made me say this. Couple that with the systems inability to cold boot properly at an overclocked setting, sure tells you that it is not made for it. Even with the Overclocked BIOS, there was no improvement in its overclocking potential. The only noticeable change the Overclocked BIOS did was making the default 133mhz fsb to run at an actual speed of 135mhz fsb. I have to admit I expected more out of this board in terms of overclocking. But sadly you can't have everything |
