Looks like the desktop replacement market just got a little bigger. This coupled with the news below about desktop Prescotts in mobile PCs shows an increasing trend in the presence of what was once a single-vendor market. ECS is going to have some competition this year... What I thought most interesting about this was the fact that they're going to offer these as barebones.

"Although the company claims it to be the smallest desktop PC in the world, the 1651U is just like the Desknotes from Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), and it looks like a notebook. The 1651U runs either an Intel Celeron processor with a 400MHz FSB (front-side bus) or a Pentium 4 with a 533MHz FSB."
