Intel drops $20M into 32nm lithography deal
Monday, 26 January 2004
Interesting news on EETimes today.  Looks as if Intel's planning for the future with this move, for sure.  Heh.... anytime you're dumping $20M into something, you'd better have some kind of plan....
"EUV lithography is positioned for commercial deployment in 2009. Intel is aiming to reach 32-nm node chip processing by then by remaining on the Moore's Law curve for lithography."
They must be doing fairly well with their transition to 90nm to be thinking about 32nm already, don'tcha think?
