"BEIJING, China (Reuters) -- A Chinese court has ordered an online video game company to return hard-won virtual property, including a make-believe stockpile of bio-chemical weapons, to a player whose game account was looted by a hacker." This is just a weird story. I mean, I know there are people selling various Online Game "Property" on ebay and all, but does this stuff have actual "value" that the online gaming companies should be responsible for? Should real world law apply to online game play? |
