Good things come to those who wait. Of course, I still never bought an IDE CD/RW drive, sticking w/the ol' SCSI Plextor for life, I guess. But for those still in the market for a DVD Burner, & thinking about buying one this holiday season.... maybe consider waiting a bit longer. DigiTimes is reporting that DVD recorder prices are expected to fall 20-30%, possibly as early as 1Q '04 due to increased supply of their components.

"In line with declining contract prices, retail prices for DVD recorders are expected to fall from the current level of US$349-399 to US$299 and below in the world markets next year, the sources said."
