FBI drops multi-million dollar SAIC contract shortly after delivery
Friday, 14 January 2005

"The paper said the FBI recently commissioned independent studies to determine if any part of the Virtual Case File software could be salvaged. A decision to proceed with new software would add tens of millions of dollars to development costs and render worthless much of a $170 million contract, the report said."
