Time to update your virus definitions. Anti-virus companies announced yesterday a cute little worm that takes advantage of a security hole in Internet Exploder. It shuts down anti-virus and firewall software designed to block out intruders and can spread by dropping copies of itself into folders on shared networks, which are commonly used at corporations and large organizations, he said. Sounds like a mIRC trojan I had running around on my network here at work and at home. At the rate our sales department here at the TV station picks up viruses I think its time to go lock down the network. *sigh* |
